My Latest Library Programs Are Hits!

I’ve been presenting two new programs all summer and the crowds have been coming out in droves! Rock N’ Roll Staycation: Cool Music Landmarks of New York and Rockin’ Reels: The Greatest Rock N’ Roll Movies of All-Time were created for 2018’s summer reading program theme, “Libraries Rock,” but they’ll be fun for your patrons all year ’round.

Every time I present Rock N’ Roll Staycation, people come up afterwards to share how the program took them down Memory Lane or tell how they’ve been to certain places a million times and never knew the sites’ secret links to the history of Rock N’ Roll. I’ve also been getting emails like this:

I wanted to express how much I enjoyed “Rock and Roll Staycation” about historic places of rock and roll that was at the South Huntington Public Library. It was an informative and extremely fun presentation that took me back to younger years and times!!!
You should be complimented on your knowledge and the work you put into researching info and the pictures that made it come alive, an absolutely outstanding presentation!!
I am eagerly awaiting “Rock and Roll Staycation 2” !
Sincerely,
Barbara Williams

If Staycation is packed with information, Rockin’ Reels is just about having a good time, learning about great music movies and enjoying fun clips. It might be hard to tell from this fuzzy photo of a massive auditorium, but Rockin’ Reels drew EIGHTY people at the Elmont Memorial Library!

So book these or any of my other programs to keep the good vibes of summer rolling at your library well into the fall and beyond!
